Raw Fruit Pizzas .....

Okay Here is What we had for dessert last night ... Raw fruit Pizza

YUM!!

I made the crust from..
Approximate as I did not measure
1 cup ground pecans
1 cup almonds(soaked overnight)
1 cup ground flaxseed
1/2 cup chopped dates
1/2 honey
Mixed in food processor to form a nice graham cracker type crust and pressed into pie plates.

I then chopped up mango , peaches, apricots, kiwis, strawberries, orange sections, bananas, red and green grapes were added.
I arranged the fruit in the crusts and added a fruit sauce.
I made a fruit sauce from a handful of grapes , some peach slices, a couple ripe figs blended and poured over the fruit.
I put in the freezer to set up for about an hour and then moved to the fridge.thats it!
Eat and Enjoy!

Hi Shari,

Just wondering if the kids filled up on just the raw pizza or needed something else on top of that. It looks great. Did you make up the recipe or get it from another source?

Do you have a favorite raw book?

I'm also trying to stick to raw, possibly going back to hallelujah acres' eating. Started to juice again but also making green smoothies. Haven't gotten any barley max, though.

Hi Sandy, I made up the recipe.
I wanted a substitute for Fruti Pizza that my family could eat and enjoy with me and vice versa.
It really was quite good. YOu could leave out the sauce if you wanted and it would still be great.

I have been reading the Boutenko's lately and like their books alot, but in mine I have amany recipe repeats from one book to another.
maybe that is just the particular books I picked out.

Oh The barley Max is so great!
Good for oyu with the juicing!

Juicing especially as we are transitioning is just so great!
I can always tell a HUGE difference in less than a day!
I feel so much better and have more energy and my body has the fuel right there without all the work of digestion!
