Lately I have been devouring books about greens at every opportunity.
Mostly Green for Life By Victoria Buetenko.
I just can not get enough! Enough information or enough in my diet!
I am sure that is a GOOD thing!!
I have been rotating my greens as much as possible, but I am having a hard time with those dark greens! Spinach is the exception! I LOVE LOVE LOVE Raw baby spinach!
I am going to plant the dark greens alongside my normal lettuces, maybe they will not be quite so strong coming from my Organic Garden!
I am going to pass on the mustard.
I usually only plant it to pull up contaminants I believe may have been in the soil, prior to my working with it.
May I suggest to you growing some greens!
Plant them in pots as houseplants and use them as decorative food. :o)
My 8 year old learned alot about chlorophyll this year in Science and we have definitely added to that knowledge!
Get a hold of Victoria's book Green for Life.
It is worth every penny! or Better yet , check it out at the library for FREE!!
Fill your body with Chlorophyll, you will be glad that you did!!
