Pulp Recipes Carob Devastation

Carob Devastation

By Jeremy Safron

1 cup sprouted almonds
2 cups soaked dates
1 cup soaked raisins
1 TB pure vanilla
3 cups carrot pulp
2 cups walnuts
2 cups sunflower seeds
1 cup fresh shredded coconut
1 cup raw carob powder
2 cups Nut Crème

In a food processor, grind the almonds, dates, raisins and vanilla. In a large bowl mix the carrot pulp with the almond mix. In a food processor grind the walnuts and sunflower seeds into a powder. In separate bowl, mix the powdered nuts, coconut and carob. Gradually add the dry to the wet almond mix. ( I took ½ and formed it into a round cake and then sliced bananas on top and then I added the second ½ on top of that and then poured on the Nut crème. If you put in the frig for a while the cake is even better)

Nut Crème

5 dates, soaked
1 cup filtered water
1 cup soaked nuts of your choice (I use cashew or macadamia)
(You could add a few more dates and carob to make it “choco” frosting)
